Short Bio

I am currently an M.S. student in computer science at Stony Brook University, where I also completed my B.S. in the same field. My undergraduate specialization is in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and broadly my research interests are AI, Machine Learning, and Quantitative Finance.

Research

My research focuses on applying machine learning and NLP techniques across diverse domains including quantitative finance, physics, and molecular biology. As an undergraduate, I worked with Dr. Gilchan Park at Brookhaven National Laboratory, exploring how large language models (LLMs) can enhance our understanding of protein interactions. This work was presented and published in the proceedings of the BioNLP workshop at the ACL 2024 conference. Currently, under the guidance of Professors Pawel Polak and Yifan Sun, I'm exploring machine learning applications in quantitative finance, and utilizing time-series foundation models for portfolio optimization. Recently my work was accepted for oral presentation at the ACM International Conference of AI in Finance (ICAIF), and will be published in the conference proceedings.
